Ranbir Kapoor: Bollywood’s new serial kisser
Heartthrob Emraan Hashmi has long been known as Bollywood’s original serial kisser, but appears the Once Upon A Time in Mumbai star has competition from Rockstar actor Ranbir Kapoor, who looks to add to the list of co-stars he has kissed onscreen.
In Bachna Ae Haseeno the actor locked lips with Minissha Lamba, Deepika Padukone and Bipashu Basu. If that was not enough, Ranbir has also shared kissing scenes with Sarah Thompson in Raajneeti, Priyanka Chopra in Anjaana Anjaani and Nargis Fakhri for Rockstar.
“Kissing onscreen is extremely technical! You have to see if the light is coming right, if your face is in the right position for the camera…besides there are so many people around! I am an actor and it’s a part of my acting. I also don’t usually need retakes. I am a good kisser” said Ranbir comically in a recent interview.
Although Ranbir may be confident in his acting, kissing on screen appears to be something that will take time to get used to. While on the TV show Aapki Adalat, Kapoor said “I do love stories most of the time. Naturally kissing scenes do come up. I don’t say daalo (put in) kissing scenes. Moreover, it’s too awkward to kiss a girl in front of hundred people on the sets and in front of camera and lights.”
Current holder of the title Emraan has locked lips in a long list of films, but it appears that Emraan is getting a little tired of the serial kisser tag and would happily give Ranbir the crown.
After Rockstar, Ranbir is set to romance previous co-star Deepika Padukone on big screen in Karan Johar’s new production Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, where we are sure Ranbir will be able to further challenge Emraan for the title.

Rani Mukherjee’s faulty dress in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
The clothes were designed by ace designer, Manish Malhotra, who had designed the short dress for Tina in the song Koi Mil Gaya, which was apparently made to her knee length. When sent to Karan Johar, he was not satisfied with the length of the dress and wanted it to be altered as he had planned a completely hot look for Tina throughout the movie.
After 2 to 3 disapprovals, the final and approved length was delivered to Rani Mukerji. She being a complete professional gave a master piece performance in the song with the dress which was extremely short as you can see in the video of the song!!
Both Karan and Manish were in a complete shock when they saw Rani Mukerji perform with comfort, in spite of the short dress which would have put most of the actresses in an uncomfortable position!

Will Mumbai Police enter Bigg Boss House?
According to an article in a leading tabloid, officers from the police department soon plan to enter the Karjat-based Bigg Boss House, to deliver court summons to popular actor Amar Upadhyay.
Amar, who became a small-screen idol after his portrayal of Mihir Virani in the television daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, one of the biggest on Indian television ever, is being summoned by an Udaipur court for a cheque bouncing case.
The article mentions that the complainant in the case, Udaipur-based Harinarayan Soni, had reportedly invested in Amar’s company Mihir Virani Multitrade Pvt Ltd, which the actor had formed with two other partners. The company is said to have been named after Amar’s screen name, in the hope of using its popularity to attract more investors. It followed the finance chain-membership system and Soni has claimed that he earned profits worth Rs 7 lakh in 2001.
It is said that the cheque issued eight years later by Upadhyay’s company, however, bounced, and Soni approached the police, and subsequently filed a court case.
“To my knowledge, Amar resigned and exited the said company way back on Dec 23, 2003 and has not been part of it since then,” informed the actor’s publicist and spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar, who is handling his media affairs, while Amar is lodged in the Bigg Boss House.
“The said cheque could have been issued after his exit from the company and Amar might not even be aware of this case. Someone could be trying to make him a soft target with such false allegations to gain publicity, as he is a celebrity and is currently confined to the walls of the Bigg Boss House; completely cut off from the outside world,” Dale added.
