Former Los Angeles Clipper Darius Miles -- Mug Shot after Gun Arrest

St. Louis ... and TMZ has obtained his mug shot.

Miles was arrested at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport ... where authorities claim he tried to take a loaded gun on a plane.

The 29-year-old former NBA player -- and St. Louis native -- was reportedly stopped after going through X-ray screening Wednesday afternoon.

Miles was booked on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.

Val Kilmer Accused of Being a Deadbeat Dad

Val Kilmer's ex-wife claims the actor has stiffed her on child support payments  ... according to documents obtained by TMZ ... and now she's going after his property in order to get what she claims is rightfully owed.

Actress Joanne Whalley had two children with Val before their marriage ended in 1996 -- one of the children is now 19-years old and the other is 16. At the time of the split, Val agreed to shell out $27,500 per month in child support.

But according to court documents filed in New Mexico, Whalley claims Val has fallen behind in payment. Whalley doesn't specify how much Val owes ... but she has established a lien on Val's property to force the actor to pay up.

It ain't the first time Whalley claims Val left her hangin' -- court documents show Joanne got a lien on Val's stuff in 2007 after he allegedly stiffed her on child support payments back then.

Val eventually rectified that situation -- and the lien was removed in 2008.

We placed several calls to Val's rep for comment -- so far, no response.

Cha Cha from 'Grease' Dies -- Dead at 63

Annette Charles -- who played Cha Cha in the 1978 movie "Grease" -- died last night in her Los Angeles home ... her rep tells TMZ.

Her rep tells us, she passed away due to complications from cancer.

The family is planning to release a full statement within the next 24 hours. Annette was 63.

A family member tells us, "Annette had recently started having difficulty breathing ... and when she went to the doctor she learned that she had a cancerous tumor in one of her lungs."

We're told doctors only learned about her condition a few months ago.

'Baywatch' Star -- Hammering Out a Deal w/ Chippendales

Ex-"Baywatch" star Jeremy Jackson is currently in a meeting with honchos at Chippendales in Las Vegas -- and we're told, both parties are trying to hash out a deal for the actor to join the bow-tied bunch on a full-time basis.

Jeremy's rep tells TMZ, the former child actor is on deck to fill an empty celebrity host spot ... following 98 Degrees singer Jeff Timmons -- but unlike Jeff's short stint ... this would be a long-term deal.

We're told Jeremy is extremely serious about the gig -- going to
Vegas last weekend to try on the bow tie and shirt cuffs (above) just to get a feel for the experience.

And that's not it ... we're told Jeremy's also been working out non-stop to prep for the position -- and after entering "Celebrity Rehab" earlier this year for a hormone-injecting fitness addiction ... he's doing it ALL-NATURALLY.

Coheed and Cambria Bassist -- Booted from the Band

Bassist Michael Todd is officially OUT of the rock band Coheed and Cambria ... just weeks after he was arrested for armed robbery -- but the band says the parting of ways was a "mutual decision."

The band released a statement saying, "After a lot of thought, introspection and discussion, Coheed and Cambria will be continuing our journey without bassist Michael Todd."

The statement continues, "We have spoken to him and this is a mutual
decision between both parties. Michael was a great contributor; our
hearts go out to his family and to all those who appreciate his talents.
We wish him nothing but the very best."

As we previously reported, Todd was arrested last month in Massachusetts after police say he showed a note to a Walgreen's pharmacist saying he had a bomb ... and demanded OxyContin.

Sources close to Lindsay tell us ... the two have been "good friends" for years ... and when LiLo found out about the show, she reached out to Chris in the hopes she could take her younger sister to watch the band play.

We're told Chris was more than happy to oblige -- and the band's manager confirms that Lindsay was hooked up with a couple of seats right near the stage.

Dallas police have released the 911 tape from the Nicki Minaj hotel fight last month -- in which you can hear a woman, referred to as "Nicki," scream ... "Look at what he did to my face!" 

As TMZ first reported, cops responded to the Palomar Hotel on July 12th -- after Nicki complained that some guy she knew hit her in the face with a suitcase.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Nicki refused to press charges after paramedics arrived.
