'Arrested Development' -- Coming Back for One More Season!!!!

"Arrested Development" creator Mitch Hurwitz announced today that the show will be coming back to television -- five years after it was cancelled.

Hurwitz said the show will do a "limited" season which will show us what the characters have been up to since the show last aired ... which will then lead right into the planned movie.

There is no official deal in place yet for where or when the show will air.

The strain is being sold under the name, "Conrad Murray OG." One weed shop owner boasted, "It puts you to sleep ... for a really long time."

As for whether Doc Murray will take legal action -- well, he's got bigger fish to fry.

Kate Major Wins 'Anti-Wacking' Protection from Michael Lohan

Kate Major has got pull with a judge in Florida, because she convinced him Michael Lohan is a threat -- and apparently the judge believes allegedly threatening to "whack" Kate's dad constitutes a threat.

Kate filed the petition for a protective order in Sarasota -- alleging Lohan has also been harassing her with incessant phone calls and texts, threatening to "ruin her career."

A judge issued the temporarily order Wednesday, ordering Michael to stay at least 500 feet away from Kate. The judge also ordered that Michael can't have Kate or her father followed by hired muscle. He also is prohibited from phoning or texting her.

Michael tells TMZ, "This is just another way of Kate trying to make money."

Amanda Knox -- Monday Could Be Freedom Day

Amanda Knox could be a free woman if her murder conviction is overturned ... and a decision is expected to come down today.

Knox was sentenced to 26 years in jail back in December 2009 for the murder of her roommate, Meredith Kercher. Knox's boyfriend at the time, Raffaele Sollecito, was also found guilty and sentenced to 25 years.

Both Knox and Sollecito appealed and their appeals are being heard together.

The Perugia Court of Appeal in Italy could overturn the conviction and ... if that happens ...Knox would be immediately freed.

But there are actually three other possible outcomes -- the appeals court could uphold the original conviction and sentence, reduce the sentence, or increase it to life in prison.

Italy does not have the death penalty.

Knox addressed the jury this morning, saying, "I am not what they say I am. I did not kill. I did not rape. I did not steal."

TV Pitchman Don Lapre -- Dead in Apparent Suicide

Don Lapre -- the self-proclaimed "King of Infomercials" -- was found dead in his Arizona jail cell early Sunday morning of an apparent suicide ... just days before he was set to go on trial for allegedly selling millions of dollars of bogus vitamins.

Lapre, who has been a fixture on early AM TV hocking various products, was facing 41 counts of conspiracy, mail fraud, wire fraud and promotional money laundering for selling a product called, "The Greatest Vitamin in the World."

The FDA begged to differ, concluding that Lapre was making wild claims about the vitamin that were simply unsupported by the evidence.

It's unclear how Lapre killed himself, but a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service says officials are investigating the situation.

Lapre had been accused of screwing roughly 220,000 people out of nearly $52 million in a national vitamin scam.

The 47-year-old shot to stardom with a scheme involving classified ads in newspapers.

Tupac Sex Tape Surfaces

A five-minute sex tape showing Tupac receiving oral sex while rapping and dancing has surfaced ... and TMZ has seen it.

The tape, shot in 1991, begins with a bunch of groupies in a living room during a house party. Tupac walks into the room with his pants down to his ankles, his shirt off ... sporting several chains.

Tupac -- whose head is shaved -- pulls one of the women toward him, and she begins performing oral sex. As she does her thing, an unreleased song of Tupac's is playing in the background, as Tupac is singing along and dancing, wiggling his hips.

And it gets even better. As the woman services Tupac, who is holding a cocktail in one hand and a blunt in another, Money B from Digital Underground walks over to him. Tupac puts his cocktail arm around Money B, continues singing and dancing ... and the woman never stops.

As the tape ends it appears he's ready to begin sexual intercourse. It's unclear if there's another tape.

We've learned the person in possession of the tape is making plans to release it.

One thing's for sure ... Tupac was a multi-tasker.

Paris Hilton -- I TOLD YOU ... I Didn't Pilfer the Pearls!

Say what you will about Paris Hilton, but she definitely knows her jewelry ... just ask the insurance company that is eating crow after falsely accusing her of a heist.

Here's the lowdown. Remember when the Burglar Bunch stole $2.8 million worth of jewelry from Paris' Hollywood Hills home back in 2008? And remember when cops recovered most of it and then returned it to Paris?

Turns out ... some of the stolen jewelry was on loan from Damiani, a fancy schmancy jewelry shop, and their insurance company thought the Damiani jewelry was part of the stash the cops returned to Paris.

Paris insisted she didn't get the Damiani jewels back, so the insurance company filed a lawsuit against Paris for the items.

But we've learned the insurance company now believes Paris was telling the truth all along, and never got the jewels in question back from the cops.

So it's case closed. Score one for Paris.

MJ Cirque du Soleil Premiere -- Pole Dancing, Moonwalking, Zombies

It. Was. Awesome ... at least that's what EVERYBODY seems to be saying about the very first performance of the new Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show -- which kicked off in Montreal last night.

Several members of the Jackson family reportedly looked on ... along with more than 13,000 screaming fans ... as the Cirque people danced, contorted and acrobatted through tons of MJ's greatest hits.

The tour is set to roll through 47 cities -- before setting up shop in Vegas.

Ranbir and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s come together?

Rumour has it that Ranbir Kapoor has been finalised alongside Sharman Joshi for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s (VVC) next. The film in question is titled ‘Chithiyaan’ (Letters) and is set to be a romantic film. However, VVC is will not be stepping into the director’s shoes, but produce this one instead.

The last tine VVC directed a romantic film was back in 1998, in the Bobby Deol starrer Kareeb, he later produced the 2005 romantic Tagore novel Parineeta, starring Saif Ali Khan. Whilst Kareeb bombed at the box office, Parineeta went on to do well.

Although VVC still has to decide on a director for Chithiyaan, Tanuja Chandra (Sangharsh, Sur) has reportedly been working on the script and VVC still also has to zero in on the leading ladies for the film.

When asked to clarify the rumour, VVC responded that his production company was in discussions and would make a formal announcement when ready.

Whilst it would be a great feather in Ranbir’s cap to star in a VVC film, until then he has a string of high profile films to look forward to which includes the upcoming Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar releasing on 11^th November.

Camilla Belle wants to act in Bollywood

Hollywood actress Camilla Belle has been in India promoting her latest Indo-Canadian production Breakaway and whilst on promotions the star revealed she would love to star in an out and out Bollywood movie.

The 25-year-old actress, who has starred in movies such as The Lost World: Jurassic Park and 10,000 BC, told the media, “If I am offered a film here, I would grab the opportunity.” Camilla went on to say, “I love the way films are made here. I am so fond of song-dance sequences.”

This was the first visit to India for Camilla and she was full of praises for the country telling the media, “It’s been a great experience coming to India. There are so many places to see and go I am just having a great time. I always wanted to come to India, I think it is a photographers dream. It’s a beautiful country.”

Camilla Belle who plays the female lead in Breakaway told the media the reason behind taking on the role of Melissa Winters was because of the ‘cultural element.’ The actress found the ‘father-son relationship’ touching. The actress went on to tell the media, “I come from a multi-cultural background, my mom is Brazilian, and I have been raised in the west and I have always struggled to find who am I. This film is about love and bond in a family which has been missing in the west.”

Robert Lieberman directs this weeks release Breakaway. The film stars Vinay Virmani, Russell Peters and Anupam Kher in lead roles. Akshay Kumar and Ludacris make a cameo in the movie.
