'Well' Video

This music video is by South African indie artist mist tree. The featured artist, who also translated and sang the Zulu, is Sello Masenya. The Zulu means: "Your ancestors are around you, talking to you". the basic meaning is that you are not alone even when you think you are. The song was produced by Jonathan Shaw of Shaw Music. mist tree has sung privately for Nelson Mandela with the Con Court choir on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Her second eclectic album "Sometimes - this album", was released at TEDxJohannesburg 2010. It is available on www.cdbaby.com An updated version of 'well' can be found there. If you liked this song, you'll also like "Baba Siyabonga" (Thank you, Father), which is on the second album. It is also an English and Zulu mix featuring Sello Masenya. The translated Zulu means: "Thank you father for bringing us success after all of this time." Farryl Roth co-wrote the chorus melody and it was produced (like all of mist tree's songs) by Jonathan Shaw. mist tree wrote a song for her husband when they were married in 2008 and this song can be found on youtube under the title "I love my husband".
